Chosing air intake system?
I would seriously go with a Short Ram intake. Its a dry filter meaning it dosent need to be oiled and or replaced often. Also with Cold Air intakes, they are usually mounted down in your wheel well where they suck up water and dirt on a constant basis. Unless you are running your car on a race strip, stay away from the cold air, go with the Short ram. What kind of car is it also? Look at INJEN intakes.
What Ron G. said. But I will add that you should use mapp gas and not propane. Mapp gas burns at a higher temperature. It doesn't take as long to heat the pipe.
