With a pitched roof you can use more and better insulation. You can also use vents to cool the area between t your ceiling and the roof. All this adds up to less energy used to heat and cool your building. It also will make the roof last longer You will need to replace the flat roof about twice to one pitched roof. So less trash will be made in the years to come.
Yes Vista is a VERY un-Tighted system. Un like Xp which has less bugs due to being out so Vista glitches. I had the very same problem try rebooting the system for it to Acknowledge any changes. Check Microsoft for any advice. Try a System restore or Default settings mode helps also. To get to Control Panel try goin through the Start Menu Hope this helps!
