that is so funny. I was thinking this morning of asking this same question. I have one and have always had one. They are safe and you can feel warm no matter if your alone or not. As long as you replace them every couple of years they are safe. An occasional mishap happens but for the most part you'll be okay.
lol, Let go and let God, girl. We'd freeze to death if not for electric blankets. Though I have a habit of buying 2 new ones every years cuz I worry, too.
For- during the day time. Against- in the evening time. I have one, but used it 3 years ago. I have cats and one of them sleeps with me in the evening. So, I haven't used the electric blanket.
Put child safety locks on the drawers and closets.
Don't blow a fuse. Calm down. Or, if you like fluffy pillows, get down, you silly goose. I studied electric blankets in current events. Many people buy them on their own accord. They just want someone to socket to them. My parents used to have one, and I have used them, but I prefer to use regular blankets and comforters. It is easier to adjust layers of warmth than one blanket plugged into the wall. Besides, I move around too much. I don't want a cord attached to my blanket. As far as being a fire hazard, I suppose anything that is electrical can be. Just another good reason to stay with the good old-fashioned traditional blanket.
