Our electric dryer recently stopped working. It takes about 3-4 cycles to get clothes completely dry. I think the low heat setting works better than the high heat setting. My question is: what are some possible reasons for this? (I checked for a clogged hose or vent, nothing) Would it be fairly simple for a laymen to fix it; or, should I spend the $100-$200 for a repairman; or, pay the $800 and get a whole new dryer?

It's best to use common since and move your car out of danger and out of the way of fire fighters. Only move it, if it's possible without endangering yourself or others. If the business is on fire while your looking for a parking place, then of course find one in another place far away.
