Question:

Constant high pitch squeeking noise from car.?

My car is squeeking after being driven for about 10-15miles (car warmed up), this as been going on for about 5 months now! In feb had new discs and pads fitted to the brakes but it still persisted! In March had it back to the garage and they checked the whole braking system, suspension system and steering but nothing found. It doesn‘t matter what the driving conditions are like, sun, snow, sleet and rain, it will come on!!! I really am at the end of the tether with this. Could someone please give me some idea of what could be causing this.

Answer:

if it isnt the breaks the only other thing that would make a high pitch squeeking noise is one of the pullies that pulls the fan belt around. that is all i can think of anyways
you have sensors behind the wheels and you might have a plug-in loose or corroded. a bad wheel bearing can cause it too.
