i'd like to know the names of some cool metal bands. I'd prefer if they weren't death metal. Screaming is good, as long as it isn't an all-screaming/growling band. Something that a fan of Dragonforce would like.

teh best metulz come frum teh urup is one of the great metal falacies. The US has always been the origin of many amazing metal bands. Florida and NY have amazing death metal, the bay area is the home of thrash, and Seattle/Portland has always pumped out quality metal from a bunch of different genres (particularly doom and black).
