Question:

Corn Snake Incubation Help!!!?

Hi there. My snake is pregnant and she should lay any day now. My incubator is warmed up to 85 Degrees Fahrenheit but I am not sure whether I will need to keep the moss in the laying box moist when they are being incubated, or just to leave them. Also, will I need to separate the hatchlings after they hatch and how long after and what containers would be appropriate? Thanks!

Answer:

I have purchased vermiculite (the granular kind) at The Home Depot. It's inside though, with the houseplants, not in the garden center.
