Sorry, think I posted this in the wrong place just now so have to re ask.A contractor in NYC, Queens says it will cost $3,350 to lay out firestone rubber sheet roof on a 3 familyy house. The sliver coating over it is another $450 which includes copple stone work. That does not include shingle work. Is that a fair price? Just wanted to hear some thoughts.

You have to be careful with safety pins. I would roll them and put a couple stitches on either side of each leg just to tack it in place.
That is what we used to fasten diapers, only larger - diaper pins. A couple options: Turn up (to the inside) and stitch in the side seams where the stitching will not be noticeable.
