Question:

Could I sell eyeshadows that I pressed?

I know how to press eyeshadows, and I had an idea (inspired by someone else) to mix eyeshadow colors and press them into eyeshadow pots, then sell them.Could I do this? And sell to my friends and such?I'm 15 (16 in February), I just don't want to be breaking any rules here haha.

Answer:

Where would you be selling them? You could probably sell them on OKorder (I think you've got to be 18... you could maybe get a parent to make the account/pay pal?) which is a huge market. I think it's a cool idea, and I would buy them. Be sure to include brands you mix, etc.
i don't see the need cuz there are already so many different colors of eyeshadow out there. but, you know what, i was in a store like this in london where they had all natural makeup and eyeshadows pressed into pretty pots. maybe you can start a business like that 1 day. in order to be able to sell stuff like this, you'd have to think about unique pots, not just eyeshadow.
When you sell things you need to get licenses and what not no matter what age you are. SO I would suggest asking for a donation. For example say you want to sell your eye shadows for $3-$5 instead of selling it your sales pitch would be for a donation of $3-$5 this could be yours. You woun't get in trouble for donations. I think its a great idea, as long as your make-up is sanitary and looks professional.
yeah, you could do it. buuut, im not sure how many people would want to buy them because of sanitary reasons. I think it would be better if you just invite friends over and they could all make their own. I know you probably want to make money... but makeup? no. jewlery... yes!!
i dont really understand like if i was your friend i would by them because i would trust you but not just someone off the street
