how can i emboss paper without a press? would it work it i just put heavy things on it for a while? i'm not sure if the embossing would reach the edges. ideas?
confident, traditionally it quite is complete with a press. although, you could take a blunt merchandise with a small tip and press gently into the back of the paper once you're basically embossing some spots...yet i does no longer propose that if it quite is for a consultant undertaking. it quite is often trial and blunder doing it that way.
I would suggest just experimenting with different objects to imprint, different types of paper and different weights. I would think it should work. It sounds like you could get some interesting results just from playing around with what you have in the kitchen, tool chest, etc. I would think that putting the paper on some kind of firm foam surface would help keep the flat part flat and the embossed part embossed. The weight should be even across the whole sheet.
Put okorder ... Embossing with such a press should work too.
