Question:

Curtain Rods for Wall to Wall Windows, HELP!!!?

Hi everyone,I need to find curtain rods for one of my walls. Basically, the entire wall is a window (sliding glass doors). So this means that I cannot mount curtain rods using the traditional hardware because there is no drywall, just window basically. Does anyone know what type of curtain rod I wouuld need? I would preferably like to do a double rod. Thanks!!!!

Answer:

get one then try to use uction cups on the glass, lol probably not going to work but u could attatch it to the frame i mean u cant tell me there's no frame lol
can you mount from the ceiling? If not then what about the wall perpendicular to the window wall?
Get full measurements of your windows. That is side to side, top to bottom. Go to a store that semi speacilizes in curtians. They will have the correct rods for you. Be prepared to pay a pretty price.
If the window has a frame around it, you will need to install the brackets on the frame itself but it probably won't look as finished. If the window is that close to the ceiling, you might want to just dress up the windows with decorative shades. Some really neat stuff is in the stores right now.
Mount the curtain rods on the ceiling. You'll need to get the kind of rods you can do that mounting with, but they do make them ... and BE SURE that you have curtains that you can hang on 'rods' that stick out from the mountings so that you can hang them on 'both sides' so the curtains go from 'wall to wall' on either side.
