Question:

cv joint/axle kit volkswagon?

i have a 2003 2.0 gas jetta. looking for a kit to get all the parts. or just what parts i would need and where would the best place be to get them?

Answer:

Easier to just get the whole axle, because otherwise it is very messy. Should be about $75 for whole axle, with both CVs
This Site Might Help You. RE: what's the difference between passenger tires and performance tires? this is the first time for me buying tires. i have a 2002 dodge intrepid SE. i can't afford to buy super expensive tires, so i'm wondering which ones to buy and where. my question is: what's the difference between passenger tires and performance tires? what would be good for my car?
I took them apart a few times. It is not fun. And you need tools. You can buy the whole axle with both CV's already greased and ready to go on. It is the fastest way and the best way.and mechanics want to do it fast and simple. I would not even bother getting that part as it has rubber components on it and rubber(neoprene if you like) deteriorates and cracks and cracks means leaks out grease. Get one when you need it. Who knows, you may total the car, get caught in a bush fire or flood, or the car gets stolen. Now you wasted your money with a room full of extra parts for a non existent car. Chit happens
just get passenger tires, they will suit your need. I have $40 tires on my 91' 240sx and have gone 115mph and they stand up fine, i drive 70miles a day and have had no problem for the 7 months i've had them:)
