This is what happens when you order online parts, I know you were trying to save money, and understand that, But unless you know what you are doing and what parts you need you will often time get the wrong parts because unless you know what company the parts came from, you have no idea who rebuilt them , where they were rebuilt (like what country and with good or bad parts) and if they are even labeled correctly in the box when rebuilt. I will only order parts like shocks, or springs , something with a company website with a brand name with thier own parts. where I can check thier part numbers before ordering fro a parts ware house for example because I got tired of the hassle of getting the wrong parts from some faceless online company in god knows where who doesnt give a crap. Now you need the right parts, and you have to hassle with sending the wrong ones back, and all the other hassle Its not worth the few bucks you save. As a business like mineke the love putting your parts in your vehicle because you pay the labor and they save money by not having to warranty your parts. So if your parts break, you have to buy another pair and pay to put them in. twice. mineke would rather not tie up thier lift for hours waiting for the wrong parts you got. It is much easier, and cheaper to order the correct parts hassle free, how much is that worth to you? and you will get better parts cv joints that are cheap rebuilt do not last very long. I suggest next time that you buy new cv joints they will last a whole lot longer because they are that much better. your assuming some parts warehouse you dont know did you right, they did you wrong and shipped you what was laying around the warehouse for awhile , thats how it goes. good luck getting your money back I hope you payed with a visa card.
I bet you have the wrong parts! There are two different CV shafts for that car. One set is for the car that has the manual transmission, and the other set is for the car that has the automatic transmission. I bet you guys weren't paying attention and got the wrong ones, and at online stores there is a considerable price difference between the two as well. The shop may have got a late start maybe they were short handed or another car took longer than planned. I don't doubt they are pressuring you a little sure they want to make some more money if they can, but they also want to fix your car.
are you worried people aren't going to know what kind of car you drive? WTF! Just tint the car and forget about the sticker, people are just going to laugh at you if you put it on
your suppose to put them on the inside.
