Remove wheel, brake caliper, rotor, and large CV joint nut. Tap out CV to loosen from bearing being careful not to damage threads. Remove lower ball joint cotter pin and nut. Split apart ball joint and pull assembly outward to separate. Bolts to remove bearing assembly are now here so just replace bearing. To remove the CV joint from the front drive axle, you have to cut the boot and spread the snap ring at the base of the CV joint and pull off. Repack, replace and install a new boot and when installing, make sure the snap ring is engaged. Reverse to install.
