most of the people in the third world are regarding Obama as the messenger of peace and who can act tough to safeguard the interests of his American people by saying No to Bangalore say to BuffaloHe lifted ban on federal funding stem cell research. he eased the sanctions against Cuba.He exerted pressure on Pakistan to act tough against Taliban.Now a days, Chavez, Iran are not criticizing the Washington.Many people in India wish their leaders were Obama.
You must not be listening to most any main stream media outlet, Chavez, Iran, North Korea, Cuba as well as the French, the British, the Germans, the Italians and the Russians among many others have been critical of him.
He's just using diplomacy the way some white leading men don't. That's all.
Obama has brought back respect and honor to the office after the last 8 years that Bush shamed it.
i think he's doing a better job in the international arena than his predecessor. i watched his address to the turkish parliament, and later went back and re-read the transcript. he hit the perfect tone, conciliatory but not outright apologetic. (sorry, conservatives, the two are NOT synonyms.. check your dictionaries.) he really seemed to win some friends back who's help we absolutely positively MUST have to prevent another 9-11. our adversaries are still critical of us, but they have greatly toned down their rhetoric. the only mainstream media in america i see portraying it otherwise is Fox News. i watch them, and CNN, and several sources OUTside the united states. overall, fox is out of step with what's really being said overseas. it's too soon to say he's the worst or he's the best. only time will determine that. i do, however, think he's made some good moves so far. he's also made some goofs (appointing tax cheats to cabinet positions is one that makes my blood boil, but i can't have everything. it's still better than what came before.)
It is not a crime to hoist the National Flag anywhere in India. Then, why the central government is opposing the flag hoisting in Jammu and Kashmir ? The prime ministerstates that it is not an occasion to scroe political points, to embarrass the state and local administrations to create situations that could lead to entirely avoidable problems or to promote divisive agendas. He further saysthat the Republic Day is a solemn occasion. The Bharatia Janata Party did not hoist its party flag. The BJP is celebrating the republic day celebrations by hoisting National Flag on the said Republic Day only at Srinagar's historic Lal Chowk. The central government may take this opportunity and can hoist flag there instead of the opposition party. Or the state government may sieze this opportunity. But, i will not do, i also will not allow to do means what ? where from the divisive forces come in this issue ? what will happen if National Flag hoisted in indian soil ? why our prime minister say to show maximum restraint ? It is our mother-land. If the state government not taking action to hoist National Flag on the Republic Day, if the central government not taking action to hoist the National Flag, it is a good matter that a party is taking action. This shows that we have a good political party in india celebrating the National Festival. so, it is not a crime but making troubles to them is not correct.
