2003 dodge durango how do the transmissions rate
any vehicle can have a bad transmission ! i never was a dodge man ! i saw a lot of dodge,s the transmission gave away but any transmission on any car won,t last if you misuse them !
My brother had a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 and I had to replace the transmission in it once. It was lifted sky high with oversized tires and the way he drove it probably had a lot to do with it going out. I would say they're good as long as you don't abuse it and/or neglect it. It didn't stop at that. It kept breaking down due to his modifications he's done to it. CV axle shaft every other week. Cracked the front differential housing. Put a ring and pinion set in it and taking it to someone else other than me to install it and it ended up locking up the rear end going down the interstate at 70mph.
