about 2 years ago my bunny died and my moms friend gave me her guinea pig its name was EddieLove, i got the cage and everything. but there wasnt a wheel. i never really knew they needed a whell. i kmow they run alot but i had him out for 6hrs everyday then he died from old age now im probly going to get another one. and when i was researching them i saw pictures and they all had wheels so do they NEED wheels????? thanks!
Nope :D guinea Pigs are actually really lazy animals,I would let it out as well,Inside and outside.Wheels are a bad idea as they have really long feet which can get stuck in between the spaces.:D Hope this helped
Guinea pigs certainly don't need wheels, because they have very fragile spines that can be bent or stretched; when they run on the wheels their back gets squeezed together, which can cause serious problems. Also, don't get one of those little balls that they run in like hamsters, this can also damage their spines. Don't buy them wheels! Good luck(:
