So I‘ve always had problems with my tires on my bikes. I know I need new tubes for my bike, but today I pulled out 3 thorns out of my flat front tire. When I get new tubes, put them in, put air in the tires, will it stay full of air not leak or do I have to get a new front tire as well from the small three thorn holes? Oh, are their really strong tubes to get to prevent thorns from puncturing my tires?
unless there are big gashes where the tube actually comes out, no you do not need a new tire there will not be new leaks unless you leave something sharp embedded in the tire check it and don;t do that though it may pick up new thorns holes just from thorns will usually not damage the tire wle
No, you don't need new tires as long as there are no holes when you have removed the thorns. Tires liners can help but they don't do all that much. Try Continental Gatorskins tires or Continental Haredshell tires. They are expensive as hell but they will keep flats to a minimum. There are also thorn resistant tubes but they are heavy and really don't do that much either.
make sure ur tire is clean with nothing puncturing through it and if ur tire is in really bad condition u probably should get a new one. and u dont need to keep buying new tubes just getting a $3 tire patching kit
