I personally installed a pioneer stereo, and I was wondering is it required to use the blue remote cable, and if I don't what will occur?
The blue remote cable is primarily for connecting various Pioneer components together. For example, I have a Pioneer tuner - it has no remote receiver of its own - if I had a Pioneer integrated amp then I could connect the two together, the remote receiver in the amp would control the tuner. If you only have one Pioneer device you don't need to worry about the remote cable.
