Question:

Do tire shops do wheel alignment? also buy camber kit for low car?

I have a Acura RSX that is FF drive and it is lowered on coil springs. So basically the wheels are on negative camber due to lower suspension. And after driving around for a long time, I realized that its eating up my inner thread of the tires on the front so I definately need to change the tires because i see threads coming out. it sucks because It worn out pre-maturely. But I learned after knowing that.I read that I probably need to buy camber kit for front and rear (although rear tires are fine) and adjust wheel alignment for this type of daily driving to improve tire‘s life. is it correct? are tire shops are able to do wheel alignments? Since Im going to switch my tires anyways.I‘m new to the car scene but I‘m still learning. Is there anything else I need to know bc what I want is for my car‘s tires to run perpendicular to the ground road and not negative so I can conserve the tire‘s life.

Answer:

Not all tire shops do alignments. Contact a local alignment shop that handles customs before you make the tire purchase. Pick their brains on the best path to take.
Camber does affect tire wear. Lowering it probably affected the toe too. Most tire shops do alignments.
Most tire shops do alignments.Since your suspension system has been modified, they may make you sign a waiver and refuse to warranty any new tires.
