Question:

Do we actually have free will, or are we helplessly being flung through life?

Do we actually have free will, or are we helplessly being flung through life?

Answer:

First: Take the covers off all of the smoke detectors, and thoroughly clean/vacuum the devices. Then, clean the contacts with some cardboard(like a cig box) to make the contacts bright and free from corrosion. Then replace new batteries in all units at the same time. Keep your rooms ventilated using fans or appropriate windows open so that the air moves occasionally. Smoke detectors are very sensitive, but if you keep them clean, they will operate correctly. IF NOT, take them back to the store/manufacturer and demand replacements.
i have been a large training stable manager and now have my own barn and training regimen. a stupid blanketing issue is stupid. unless your barn has really bad issues, horses shouldnt have 'flaps of skin' hanging. they probably scratched themself/got bit/kicked and it's not that bad, you're probably overexaggerating it. horses can start growing hair when they get too cold. primitive reflex.
theres no reason she cant get it fixed before then.. im sure theres plenty of plumbers who can come sooner than that and fix it but heating/cooking and hot water are basic necessities and yes i think she should have to reimburse you for costs associated with her failure to get it fixed within a reasonable amount of time.
