Question:

do you like trycycle type motorcycles with 1 tire front & 2 tires back? are they safe to ride?

saw one for sale a thinking about buying it. I‘m guessing it was built long ago because the forks are really long like some bikes in the 60s and 70s. the engine is a VW 4 cylinder.

Answer:

none of the benefits of driving a car, ie wet windy and no heater none of the benefits of riding a bike ie stuck in traffic having to join traffic and wait in line. My sister has one it is well built and safe to ride, however they do not corner well at speed there is a hedge in cornwall with a sister on a trike shaped hole in it !! bike and sister doing well hedge and tyre tracks left farmer scratching his head. sorry sis to mention it :-)
suggest you look up isle of Mann TT sidecar racing on you tube - only commented in agreement with others already posted.
They're as safe as any tricycle, that's why the government banned the sale of all new three-wheel ATVs many years ago. Would rather take a bus ride in Gaza!
