What a great scarfI've never seen one like thisI think it would depend on the fibre in the yarn you use and the diameter of the linksA firm woolen yarn would probably be OK without stuffingA soft acrylic may need a bit of stuffingI would use the stuffing from an old polyester pillowWhen you work the first link it will be obvious whether it needs to be stuffed or not.
