Question:

Do you think there will ever be a false fire alarm in my college dorm?

I'm a sophomore in high school thinking about going to college here soon!! The time seems to be going fast. One of the things I seem to keep track of and I don't know why but I always like to keep track of when our fire drills will be happening. I don't know when there's drills it just seems like I just have to know when they will happen! As I know you have to stay in a dorm for a while in College and always curious as to If there will be false fire alarms at all during the year? I really don't think I'd like to be showering or sleeping or any time at night going out if its cold for a false alarm so that's just one thing I've been taking into account staying at a dorm. What kinds of things normally would set it off falsely if it ever happens and what could the likelihood of it happening be?

Answer:

reinstall the system. but chances are very slim. would have to use sharing option, or a script. either way you would know. scan it for spyware.
Crosman This site has the step by step procedure for loading your 357W
Yes it is possible for them to setup the computer to do that. Disable windows remote access rightmouse click My Computer Properties Remote Assistance tab and disable the remote settings. Use virus scanner which may detect his program as malicious if he has one on there. Look in Control Panel Add-remove Programs for things like GoToMyPC etc. Delete what you don't want anyways. Enable firewall Control Panel Network Connections open your connection advanced tab make sure firewall is enabled go to firewall settings and allow no exceptions.
