Question:

do you think we will travel on hover boards in 30 years?

do you think we will travel on hover boards in 30 years?

Answer:

Simple Answer: Too many movies, it's improbable, plus what would protect you from a collision when a 16 year old with a fresh license (assuming there will be) speeds past and hit you in the head, brain damage, we'll still be as vulnerable, and maybe even more vulnerable to impacts and diseases, so you would need some bubble canopy, and you'd have to stand all that while, hit your head on the canopy and knock yourself out on a bumpy ride, as I imagine it would be affected by winds, as a plane is in addition to all the hurdles mentioned earlier
your problem is some where in your abs system take your vechicle to your dealier haveit checked.
Only if they run on oil products, which by then will be twenty dollars a gallon! The oil companies will buy up the patents if anything else.
it sounds like the master cylinder.
Been watching back to the future? Seriously, as cool as it would be I doubt it. First problem is the suspension system. if you did it with magnets you would have to travel over a constant magnetic field of the same polarity as your board. I am not going to discuss some sort of force shield/bubble because I honestly don't know enough about it to make informed statements. Second problem: Absolutely no friction. Where as a skate board is free to roll only forward and backwards, a hover board would be 360 degrees of complete frictionless motion and in my mind completely uncontrollable.Imagine walking on a wet surface with blocks of ice strapped to your feet, and then take away the slight amount of friction that generates, does not seem like fun to me.
