I have air bag light on for 4 days, my horn and rear wiper are working, in AutoZone cannot find the code,, I call Chrysler , my van do not have recall, what possible can be? clock spring, can my air bag go on after some time?? thank you
Its a very common problem in dodge products. No the air bag will not go off because of the light the light is telling you something is wrong with the system,It could be as simple as a defective seat belt or if you live in the salt belt as i do it can be a corroded crash sensor.these codes can be read but not by auto zone scantools you need to go to a shop that deals with airbags such as the dealer or a body shop. Dont worry the airbag wont deploy by itself,but you need it checked in case of a accident.
