Question:

dodge ram transmission?

Ok, i am looking at getting a jasper transmission for my 94 ram 4x4 518 transmission. I am wondering if it is worth it and is there any other company that offer transmissions. Do jasper transmissions have any problem i have to worry about

Answer:

they build on of the best transmissions i have ever used before, they are basically trouble free, and they have the warranty to back it up with,i have used several of their engines along with their transmissions and i have yet to have one go bad,i been using them for about 4 years now and so far so good,i also own one of their transmissions, and i bought it used from another truck, but its one of the best shifting transmissions i have ever owned, even if you do have a problem from it they will honor the parts they sell ,their not like some independent rebuilds they stand by what they sell, its worth the ease of mind to purchase one of their transmissions, they,ll even send a representative out to see what the problem is and that's something not many company's will do these days, good luck, hope this has helped.
those trucks have a popularity for transmission failure around a hundred,000 miles. maximum folk do no longer do the cautioned maintenance it is fluid and filter out modifications ans adjusting the bands on that transmission. There are a pair updates on that one which would be performed. One is a examine valve, i do no longer remember what the different is. The transmission in my 'ninety six Ram lasted 186,000 miles because of the fact I did the maintenance as cautioned interior the handbook. My truck isn't babied. It many times contains heavy a lot, tows a trailer and is pushed in mountainous terrain daily. because of the fact the different answer says, circumvent transmissions are actually not any worse that any others.
i have used jasper for years and very few problems they are reliable the do testing before is is shipped /good products. i have used there engines and transmissions have had very good luck with them a little pricy but you get what you pay for. just hold on to your paperwork just in case somthing does happen. hope this helps.
