a bicycle has two wheels. Bi actually does mean two. Tricycles have 3 wheels.

There is a special rim that a shop I know uses that is wide and strong and uses thick spokes.It is a concave rim.They guarantee the wheel if they build it.They can build the wheel in many sizes. (i.e. Two bikes welded side by side, the gear mechanism powers an axle at the center and the front to wheels can be steered by rotating an axle (similar to a wagon) or by moving an non-rotating axle sideways (similar to a car). Quintcycle 5 wheels. I'm not aware of any devices with this configuration. but. Arrange four wheels in a square (or rectangle). These wheels are not connected via axle and can spin freely. Then add a fifth wheel at the back that applies force and steers the vehicle. The vehicle should handle like a boat with an outboard motor.
