yes, so long as your laptop has a usb port. (which unless u laptop is really really really old, for instance, i used to have a Windows 95 laptop, and even that had a usb port, your laptop should have a usb port)
As long as you have the drivers and a USB port, a laptop will connect to anything a comparably equipped desktop can.
