Does it have to be powered? Or can you hand rotate it? If hand powered, you will need rollers at each end. You could use a short piece of PVC pipe, or two rolling pins, or something similar, you will need to rig some way to hold the rollers (maybe a wooden stand with a notch at the top so the rollers would sit in it, and then you need material that is flexible, but won't break. Maybe cloth would work. Real conveyor belts use rubber sheets seamed together.
