I want to know how wi-fi works with my DS and I want to try wireless with my animal crossing,and I want to trade or battle with my Pokemon D/P.
well, if you dont habe a wireless modem/router, you can find one at gamestop, wal mart, target, best buy, circuit cityalmost anywhere.
there's many step-by-step things to use wifi. if you have an internet router at home(box with blinking lights) then yea u can connect to wifi with that. but in order to use wifi, you must set it up in the games your using. try pokemon 1st. 1.turn on ds 2.start the pokemon game 3.don't click continue but go down to wifi settings 4. and from there set up a wifi connection 5. the rest should be explained in the process itself
im not sure where you can get a wireless motem but a few games that can be used for wi-fi connection settings -animal crossing wild world -pokemon diamond and pearl -mario kart ds -i think new super mario bros -maybe nintendo dogs.
If you don't want to go with the wireless router then Nintendo makes a special wi-fi connector you can find at Walmart or any place that sells DS accessories. You just plug in into your USB port on your computer and they it acts as a wireless router for your DS. I think it is about $20 and it works for the Wii as well.
