I have no way to know for certain, but my intuition tells me it should be pronounced something closer to lokt or lokta but LOCK tee just doesn't sound right. I felt the same way about Brett Favre pronouncing his name as FARV. Sure, it's French. But when would the French transpose letters and make FAV-rrrrruh into FARV? Someone goofed coming across the pond for sure. I like names and I too am familiar with the notion that people have the right to say their own name as they wish. But when one pronounces ones name in a bizarre way it just calls more attention to it.
