Question:

Does anyone happen to have the Sugar cookie recipe from........ ?

Does anyone happen to have the Sugar cookie recipe from the 1966 Better homes and Gardens edition of quot;Cookies and Candiesquot;? I would appreciate some help. Thank you.

Answer:

powder sugar? I forgot, I used to know that one. But if your recipe is calling for 2 cups of sugar, start with 1 1/2 powder sugar. Taste test it, and if it needs more, keep adding. I don't know about the spreading either. Test with several cookies first, and see. And if you need powdered sugar and only have regular sugar, put some in the blender or processor until you have the fine powder you're looking for.
