Texas-Style Beef Brisket Prep: 10 minutes Cook: 6 hours Servings: Serves 10 6-8 lbsboneless beef brisket 3/4 cup onion, finely chopped 2 tsppaprika 1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper 1/2 cup water 2 cups prepared steak sauce 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped 2 Tbspbutter 1 cup catsup 1 Tbspbrown sugar 1/4 tspcrushed red pepper Trim fat from brisket to 1/4-inch Combine 3/4-cup onion, paprika and black pepperRub mixture evenly over surface of brisket Place brisket, fat side up, in large disposable panAdd ?-cup waterCover pan tightly with aluminum foilPlace in center of grid over very low coals(Single layer of coals with space in between each.)
