does anyone know why a 2002 ford taurus would not thrwow any heat.checked the radiator and changed the thermos
Feel the heater hoses. the inlet hose should be engine temperature. very hot. the outlet should be hot too but not as hot as the inlet. If the outlet is cold and you're full of coolant then odds are the heater core is plugged
You have two separate issues here. For one, sounds like you have an out of balance wheel, tire out of round or bent wheel. Secondly, you indicate that when you brake, the shaking gets worse. This is a sign of warped rotors. I don't think it is ball joints or front end issues. Because the shaking is present over 50 MPH, that is the tell-tale sign of an out of balance or bent wheel.
Look first at the heater hoses and make sure one of them isn't kinked or pinched off. The core may be plugged
If the radiator is full and you installed the right degree thermostat then I would opt to say you have a faulty heater core or possibly just an inlet or outlet hose on your heatercore plugged... Just a rough guess... I think it's a pretty good one though... oh and you can check it by taking the two hoses off of your heater core and make sure the both have your antifreeze running through them... Im willing to bet the outlet won't though.
check your heat exchanger and see if the plug has come loose or see if the heater hose is plugged
