I brought a used car off craigslist. The keyless remote doesn't work, so I was thinking if I had an alarm installed it would make better sense. To re-program the keyless remote will be 85 dollarsIf I get an alarm placed on the car will I have the ability to unlock the car doors with the alarm remote?

Safety pin it or use a pony tail and tuck it under. I do it all the time.
