Question:

does it matter if its cold or not to put new springs and shocks on a car?

i mean there gonna do it inside the shop but im getting my car lifted so its like 33f out here and i was wondering once i drive outta the shop will the cold effect the springs or shocks at all?

Answer:

At those temps, no you won't be able to tell at all. Your shocks get stiffer due to increased fluid viscosity at REALLY cold temps, like --25 or lower, but they don't lock up or anything. I've noticed my Explorer rides pretty rough when it gets down to -30 or below, but the tires harden up too at those temps.
it won't matter. those pasts are made to work in all types of weather.
