Question:

Does Switching To Smaller Tire Size Affect Camber ?

So say i had 195/60/r14 on my car and i got the car aligned to stock suspension. And then i put 185/60/r14. Does this change the camber or toe? Will i need to get another alignment ?

Answer:

go to auto zone. wipers are custom made for your car and shape of windshield.
Only use tires recommended for your car - mostly one size up or down may not matter that much - but follow the recommendation
camber is the tilt of the wheel in and out it will not change no matter what size tire you put on
excellent query, the answer is yes and no. when the car is rolling casually or sitting there is absolutely no difference. BUT when you corner the tires will run a bit different than otherwise. less grip on the outer tire means less loading on the suspension while cornering at threshold, therefore the camber is affected slightly due to the different position of the components. but don't sweat it you won't even notice likely. the bigger issue will be speedometer and such being off but that won't be all that much either. just make sure the tires can take the weight and such too, skinnier tires means less surface area to hold up the car. the tires say right on the side, weight capacity and max pressures. its also worth noting that the cornering behavior/camber while cornering will change as much or more just from softer vs harder tires. edit: i was not suggesting that the angles of the tires to the road relative to the center of mass will necessarily change under cornering though that can happen too. many suspension systems compensate well for differences in grip and shape. you can see pronounced differences in how cars corner in high speed pictures taken of cars drifting around corners at speed.
