charge to replace a cable modem? kind of a dumb question but they won't ever take me off hold, and their online assistance is pretty bad. I was told I need a new cable modem since mine isn't giving it's full performance or something. Had it for about a year now some kinda linksys. and also I was wondering what is the best cable modem to get these days? thanks
Well, TWC is very picky about cable modems. They prefer you to use their Scientific Atlanta (CISCO) modems because they control everything in it and control what you can and can not do on it (like management, not restricting what sites you can go to). They do not charge to replace a bad modem, it is just leased to you as long as you keep your service with them. Best modems to get would be motorola surfboards or linksys, it you can find them. Like I said, they are picky.
