Well, people use aluminum foil when barbecuing.

Aluminum has a VERY high melting point which turns into vapors 2.Basically, aluminum at melting point (and inhaling) can be dangerous. 3.Personally, i've never heard of coals making aluminum foil melt. I've never seen aluminum foil in the oven melt. It'd take a crap load to make that nonsense melt. Overall, you're okay.
