I have a small rc helicopter, loads of fun btw, and I was curious if I could add another, identical battery to the existing one,and fyi the heli could handle the extra weight, no problem.

it should handle it but here is WHY you shouldn't use it: firstable, if you double the pack, the chopper will need more power to lift off which means that will waste more energy and it won't be so efficient the motors will get hot too. it would be better if you use the first pack and then you use the 2nd one why? so you don't lose perfomance because of the weight and the motors don't have to work harder also, when you change the packs, the motor and electronics have time to cool a bit down, if you're going to do this then try waiting at least 5 minutes for the helicopter to cool down, this way, the motors will last longer
