I am on vacation and I can't go to the orthodontist. One of my brackets fell of because I grind my teeth at night. It is hurting me so bad I can't even close my mouth. How can I get it off?
The brackets are tightly glued to your teeth. So it's practically impossible to get them off, unless you have an orthodontist help you out. Are you near a small dentist practice? If so, I'd say go and ask them a few questions. You can't have them take care of you there, but I'm sure they can answer a few of your questions, relating to that bracket. How long until vacation ends? Hold it out until then, if it's not that long. I'm sorry that you have to endure this suffering, but I hope it ends soon(:
rip it off with anything, you can use a fork as a lever. i did it loads time after they came off at rugby. its not sore really but you will have some glue left at it.
Try not to grind your teeth so much.
Just call your orthodontist and ask what you should do in your situation. You could also just yank it off if you're really desperate.
Get a knife and try push it off or use pliers
