I have a 2003 VW Passat Turbo engine,My mechanic told me the only code that came up after checking it was system too lean and that altitude could be a probable cause, I‘ve been driving the car back and forth for California to Flagstaff, AZ. He told me to pour injector fluid in it, and after filling up the tank and adding the cleaning injector fluid, I‘ve been running the car for about a week and the tank is getting low, I turned it on earlier and the light was off. Would that have been the problem then? Or should I get it checked again? He said that sometimes they get dirty and cause that light.
System too lean code is a delicate situation especially with a turbo car. If what your mechanic tell youto do work just leave it alone.
Rather than steel, the majority will be made from cast iron, which is more rigid - certainly the plate (or frame). The strings are usually tensile steel, with copper wrapping in the bass section. There will be some brasswork also.
When you have a code that say your system is to lean that means that you dont have enough fuel and to much air if u had a clogged injector and you put cleaner in it then most likely the cleaner unclogged it and made the check engine light turn off but it is probably still stored in the computer but the light will not come on you will need to have your mechanic clear the code for you
I highly suggest you change to a better grade of gasoline too such as chevron super unleaded, you have a high performance engine, and the cleaner better fuel you use the longer the engine will last. chevron has techron in it, this is a fuel system cleaner sold in auto parts stores too. Ifs smarter to keep your engine clean to begin with, than to go back later and clean hardened deposits out. Clean oil, clean filters and good quality fuel will help keep your car running stronger, longer.
