i don't know what class you are taking but do your own homework the answers are in the same book you got these questions from
B is definitely the answer. I changed my mind; The question is definitely misworded. It should read; During heavy exercise, the buildup of lactic acid in muscle cells results FROM, B. Oxygen Debt. Changing the meaning from in to from changes what the question is asking completely, and gives a logical answer. It does not make sense unless the question is changed. I assure you of this.
