Question:

Estamated cost for struts/ suspension for 1995 Dodge Neon?

I was wondering how much it would cost (maybe on average) for new struts or just a full suspension kit (if they sell them. i would assume they do) for a 1995 Dodge Neon? (Just parts)My Neon isn‘t a sport neon or anything. just a regular ol‘ Neon if that helps.

Answer:

they don't sell a complete suspension kit for that car unless its under a performance suspension system, to go back stock on it your looking at about 450 bucks for the struts and labor plus having it realigned, and that's using life time warranty gabriel or monroe strut back on it,good luck
It you fine the tank in junkyard. Have it cleaner out. May they will let you have the tie rods and brake lining as well. I would go to the part house and get a new belt. Old belt should never be used. Cause they will brake and the head will be damages. And replace the water pump, any other belts. I know it hard to replace a good item. But, within six months the pump will fauil. Take out the new belt and the head will be damage. If it has a oil pump belt. It will go out. The engine will burn up.
I owned - for 2.5 years - a 95 Neon.it's a Lemon. The money you're gonna put into suspension is a waste. Honestly, ditch the car. The day I got rid of that piece of junk was the best day of my life. To answer your question though (because I was recently shopping around for rear struts for my 97 Lexus): Replacing the rear struts in my car takes about 3 hours of labor. Parts estimated at $130. Expect about the same amount of time for the front. HOWEVER, when you change the front struts, you'll likely have to change the strut mounts, too - that's more $$$. And, more of a waste on a Neon.
