I'm buying my grandmas 1954 international pickup and it doesn't have any locks on the doors. I don't want electric or auto locks, just the stone age key lock, so I can save money. How much would this cost for someone to install one on each door? (2 doors) also, how much if I did it myself?
Radioisotope-based smoke detectors use a small amount of Americium-241. People overestimate how dangerous most radioisotopes are for the most part, they won't hurt you unless you swallow something big and very radioactive. Only about 0.2 micrograms of the radioisotope is used. Also, Americium-241 has a half-life of over 400 years that means that it decays very slowly and its radioactivity is almost negligible.
