I was wondering if anyone ever did this, I wanted to try and snag Setanta Sports from my installer if I maybe try and be nice. (I'm in the U.S. and Setanta is expensive)
With addressable cable boxes, and access card controlled satellite receivers, your installer won't have the opportunity to give you extra programming. Be nice to them anyway and you may get a cleaner installation that is less prone to problems. editFiber optic is essentially just another kind of cable. The installer still would not have the ability to add extra channels to an addressable box./edit Don
