I too live in a VERY warm area The general temperatures they can thrive in is around 30 degrees farenheit to 80 degrees farenheitKeep in mind you can put cool things in the cage like a frozen water bottle or ice packWith the cold weather, they need lots of blankets! :) Good luck! :)
