Question:

Fire lanes in Pennsylvania?

earlier today i was at walmart and i went to go and pick my mom up at the door. i pulled over for about 5 minutes in the fire lane i was in the car the whole time and had my 4-ways on. a cop came to my window and said that he was writing me a ticket for being parked there. can he legally give me a ticket for that. he did not ask for my license or registration or any of my information. he just walked back and took my license plate number down and gave me a ticket. as he was writing this my mom came out. also he was a cop from a different part of the city. kind of a smaller branch of the city and i was in another part. so could he even write me one because he was not in his jurisdiction?

Answer:

Where you pierce a septum, the skin is very thick. The thicker the skin, the harder it is to go through. I would honestly wait until you can get a hollow needle because it will just be easier. My friend pierced her septum too and she said that the hollow needle was needed! For her, a safety pin didn't do the job. And the sewing needle is likely too small. Obviously the smarter option is to get someone else to do it, but I get that you are in a bind. You just want to be real careful, because if you mess it up, there isn't much you can do about it. Make sure to use gloves and a mirror and all that jazz. Just be safe.
People get on my nerves who ask a question and then write don't tell me ___________ ( you fill in the blank). Don't ask any questions then. It's very silly to ask a question and then try to tell people how to answer you. Handle your own business.
i would advise against it. but if you are going to do it i would buy a brand new SHARP needle, the only thing more painful than stabbing yourself is stabbing yourself with a blunt object. also, boil for ten minutes in clean water then soak in alcohol. after piercing clean with alcohol twice a day for 3 months. do it over the sink in case of blood, do even more research, this is pretty dangerous
You do realize rubbing alcohol does not effectively sterilize anything, right? You need an autoclave. Yes, you oh so clearly know what you're doing as you ask random people on Yahoo Answers how to pierce yourself. Sorry, I'm not going to help you there. Piercing yourself with a tiny safety pin and then stretching it with a dull sewing needle is only going to cause a lot of unnecessary trauma and scarring, not to mention it's going to hurt a lot worse than having it done professionally. If you're not mature enough to wait until you can have it done safely, you're not mature enough for any piercing.
