Friend just called me, she recently got a Ford Focus, not sure what year, but she said her rear windshield wiper won‘t stop running and she doesn‘t know where the switch for it is.Any advice?

Ford Focus Rear Wiper Blade
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/axPVf The splines have worn either on the wiper arm cap or on the motor hub. Pull off the whole arm and look inside the cap. There should be splines on the inside, then have a look at the hub sticking out from the window and have a look at the splines on the outside of the hub as well. You will find that either of these have worn or maybe even both. Which ever has worn you need to replace. As a temporary measure you could try some thin tin foil or similar wrapped around the hub then push back on the wiper arm until you get it sorted.
The rear wiper switch is part of the same stalk as the front wiper switch. Just an inner ring that you turn to activate. Very easy to accidentally activate the rear when turning on the fronts. Check your owners manual to be certain but that is where it is located on all the Fords I have had.
